Landscape Chinese Scroll Painting – Silk Wall Art – Green Cliff

The green cliff theme unfolds in this landscape scroll painting with a painter's patience. The ink settles into the silk with a softness that keeps every edge gentle. As a piece of traditional chinese wall art, it reads clearly from across the room and keeps giving on closer inspection.

Against the silk ground, the cliff reads clearly at any distance. The artist lets the green speak plainly, without ornament or excess. The waterfall pools at the base in a wash of pale, still water. The picture balances fullness and emptiness in the classical manner. It is the kind of picture that grows quieter the longer you look. The details are specific enough to trust and loose enough to dream on.

For a home leaning toward elegant chinese wall scroll, this scroll is a natural fit. Mounted in the traditional way, it honors the room it hangs in. It brings a sense of order to a busy wall.
